Tryst.link is one of the best-known directories for independent providers, but few providers rely on one site alone. Some want more clients, some want a different region, and some simply want a backup in case an account is suspended. This guide covers what Tryst offers today, why some providers look elsewhere, and eight alternatives we confirmed are active as of November 1, 2026.
Disclosure: Velvet22, which publishes this blog, is one of the options listed. We describe it using the same factual approach as the others.
Tryst.link in 2026: what it offers
Tryst.link is live and run by Assembly Four, an Australia-based team that, according to Tryst's FAQ, is a "sex work and technologist run social enterprise." It also created Switter, which shut down in 2022. (Not to be confused with Tryst Agency, a separate booking business.)
Pricing: Tryst's help centre confirms a free "Lite" plan, a one-month free trial of the Standard plan for new providers, and paid tiers (Basic, Standard, Premium) bought with "Tryst Love Credit." It accepts cards and Bitcoin. Tryst's own price list sits behind its login. Third-party reviews list about €35, €75, €100 and €150 per month, while another lists $39, $69 and $119 per month.
Verification: live ads require photo verification. Profiles are reviewed manually by a team that, Tryst says, "includes current and former sex workers." Tryst says it deletes ID photos after the age check and hosts data in the EU.
Why some providers look for alternatives
These are attributed experiences, not verified facts:
Approval delays. A sex-worker blog summarising a 2025 Tryst Reddit AMA said verification was taking "a month or two." A long-time provider wrote on Trustpilot that some providers wait months for photo approvals and that support "very rarely replies."
Placement and traffic. In a Reddit post from August 2026, a provider said her paid Premium ad appeared below free listings and brought no enquiries for 12 days. Replies were mixed: one person said Tryst is "still the only viable site," because new sites often lack clients.
Scams and account takeovers. The same AMA summary mentioned scam profiles. In June 2026, a provider blog reported that Tryst changed its account-recovery process after phishing attacks on advertisers.
None of this means Tryst is a bad choice. It does mean that spreading your presence across platforms is common sense, just as with WhatsApp bans or any single channel.
The alternatives
1. Velvet22 (our platform)
Who it suits: independent providers only. Its advertising policy excludes agencies and brothels.
Regions: global listings. The homepage city list and most featured profiles are US-based, with some profiles in cities such as London and Toronto. Velvet22 says it was founded in Amsterdam in 2024, is hosted in Europe and has more than 1,000 live profiles.
Pricing (published): Free $0; Basic $50; Silver $100; Gold $200; Elite $350 per month (USD). There is no long-term contract and renewal is optional. Silver and above are eligible for homepage placement.
Verification: providers must be verified before creating a profile, profiles are reviewed before publication, and only one profile per person is allowed.
Pros: free tier, published prices, independents-only policy.
Cons: a newer and smaller directory than long-established sites; strongest coverage is in the US.
2. Slixa
Who it suits: providers in North America and other major markets who want city-based ads and touring options.
Pricing (published): credit-based, with no subscription; you pay only while an ad is live. Slixa's own sample table lists 30-day basic ads at $60 to $90 in cities such as New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Rates vary by city.
Verification: age verification for advertisers (minimum age 20, with IDs accepted from a published list of countries), plus optional photo verification.
Pros: transparent per-city pricing; pause and resume ads.
Cons: costs add up across several cities; IDs are accepted only from listed countries.
3. Eros
Who it suits: providers in established US and international markets who can budget for advertising.
Pricing: varies by market and is shown after choosing a city. Community-reported figures range from about $135 per month to several hundred dollars or more for top placements (see our Eros.com review).
Verification: "Verified" and "Gold Verified" badges.
Pros: long history and brand recognition.
Cons: some providers say the cost is hard to justify in crowded markets.
4. AdultWork
Who it suits: UK-based providers.
Pricing: free to list, with paid credits for featured placement.
Verification: its terms require ID verification for service providers. Since the UK Online Safety Act, public galleries must be safe for work, with explicit content behind age checks.
Pros: large UK presence; free to start.
Cons: UK-centred; the structured profile format offers less freedom.
5. Skokka
Who it suits: providers in Europe, Latin America and parts of Asia. Skokka says it operates in 29 countries.
Pricing: free to post up to three ads a week; paid promotions such as "Top" and "Super Top" are priced by country.
Verification: a verified badge requires ID-based age verification and an unpublished 360° video.
Pricing: standard membership is free; premium memberships are paid, with prices shown in the account area.
Verification: email verification; reviews are approved by the site.
Pros: a specialised audience; free to start.
Cons: the provider price list isn't public; verification is lighter than on some directories.
8. Private Delights
Who it suits: providers in US markets where it is popular, especially California, who want a review-based platform.
Pricing: not published.
Verification: age verification is required before posting.
Pros: an established, review-based client base.
Cons: many new providers report verification requests going unanswered for months (see Private Delights verification).

How to choose
Start where your clients are. Regional sites matter. AdultWork is strongest in the UK; Skokka covers Latin America and Southern Europe.
Test with free tiers before paying. Tryst, Velvet22, AdultWork, Skokka, EuroGirlsEscort and TS4Rent all offer one.
Compare cost per enquiry, not price per month. Track where each booking comes from.
Check verification and fake-ad controls. Sites that verify carefully protect your brand. Copied listings are a real risk, as our SecretHostess guide shows.
Protect your data. Read how each site stores ID documents, and use two-factor authentication.
Keep two or three listings live so a suspension or slow approval on one site doesn't leave you without a way to reach clients.
